The site was originally a muddy clay slope so we chose to terrace the space, creating 5 useable levels. The central tier has built in benches and firepit where our client often entertains. The Summerhouse at the rear of the garden is very much a den for teenagers with a pool table and dart board. For the planting we kept the existing framework of shrubs and trees and added a selection of white flowering shrubs and herbaceous perennials.
