Rochford

The client’s brief was to create a garden that would reflect the clean lines of their newly refurbished house.

This included the creation of terrace by the house with sufficient space to entertain 50 guests, incorporating an area for cooking outside.

Access from the main terrace to the swimming pool is via a planted area with built-in seating that softens and breaks up the two large terraces.

By the pool there is a canopy with a louvered roof and vertical blinds.

The continuation of flooring materials from inside the house to terrace areas and beyond was requested and also a full refurbishment of the existing swimming pool and surrounding terrace.

The Ancient Olive, staggered gabions and muted Mediterranean planting palette all combine to give a striking and architectural feel the scheme.
